Label of the 1993 exhibition at the "Louvre des antiquaires"
Height: 22 cm.
Gauge: 0.94 liters
ANGERS, End of the 18th century

Very good condition, from the famous and exceptional René Richard collection, author of an excellent work on pewter from Laguedoc and Roussillon.
Rare provenance. This thumb with a two-sided palmette is characteristic of this center, which also has in common with the centers of Poitou and Guyenne, for some of them this median molding extending the tongue of the lid.
These pitchers were the wine measures of the Ancien Régime, they are the central theme of many pewter collections.
