Napoleon III Royal Red Marble Fireplace
Beautiful, sturdy and large fireplace-surround in Rouge Royal marble, the most favorite marble of Roi de Soleil, Louis XIV, (Royal), during the first works of the Versaille pallace. A marble with an excellent quality and allure. The white toned veins in this vivid Rouge Royal marble brings relief and movement to this fireplace.Little fossils are visible in this marble: A fossil is not the animal. The fossil is not the bones of the animal. The fossil is the stones-memory of the bones of the animal. Just to say. Massive jambs and a double moulded shelf. Dating ca.1875. Found in a Maison Maitre in Brussels. Photos are taken before dismantling. Fireplace is cleaned now in my workshop. Will be delivered with Rouge Royal (or Carrara)-tiles to make a frontfloor. Also in our stock: Hearth (foyer)-tiles, Napoleon III style. Worldwide shipping. Delivery in Europe can be done by Antique Fireplaces First: 'In House Delivery'.
