Two Animated Ink Wash Drawings Madagascar Signed E Robert Early 20th Century
Guaranteed change of scenery with these two drawings signed E Robert representing lively scenes of daily life in the countryside of Madagascar at the turn of the last century. The somewhat basic frames are made of cardboard and glass framed by leather strips lightly shaped with a marker roller and then glued. They bear on the back the stamp of the artisan framer of Tannanarive with another stamp dated March 1908.
