Napoleon III Golden Mirror
Beautiful 19th century mirror from the Napoleon III period, console model to hang or place, presenting a rich decoration in wood gilded with real gold leaf, the upper part is animated by an imposing pediment decorated with a Rocaille shell flanked by foliage and flower scrolls supported by a curved ogee frame resting on acanthus leaf uprights. Original mercury mirror with beveled edge. Beautiful gilding, note some wear revealing the red plate. Dimensions: 83 cm high X 57 cm wide.
