East Prussian Silver Honorary Cup 1933
This silver honorary cup is a historical souvenir for participants of the nationwide rally to the Tannenberg memorial in East Prussia in 1933, commemorating the 19th anniversary of the Battle of Tannenberg.
It features a smooth, trumpet-shaped wall with an engraved inscription:
“Loyalty is the mark of Hindenburg’s honor” and “Ostland, Loyalty Rally 1933”.
The cup is mounted on a base with an imperial eagle. Marked “Schleissner & Söhne, Hanau.” This is an interesting and very rare collector’s item.
