Henri Louis Nieser, also known as Hans Nieser, was a Dutch printmaker, painter and draughtsman, born on 15 March 1885 in The Hague and died on 17 November 1943 in 's-Hertogenbosch. Education and influences Nieser trained from 1906 to 1908 under Leonardus Johannes (Leon) Senf. Memberships In 1912 he became a member of the Vereeniging Haagsche Kunstkring. Works and themes Nieser is known for his paintings of Brabant farms and barns. Residences He lived and worked in various locations, including The Hague, Voorburg, Heeze, Zeddam and Nijkerk.
