Old Napoleon III Siphon Coffee Maker
Siphon coffee maker with balance, Gabet was the inventor in 1844. The coffee maker is composed of 2 containers placed side by side, one in glass for coffee and the other in ceramic for water. To obtain coffee, the water was transferred through the channel of a tube from one container to the other to finally become heavy and trigger a balance. The burner was then automatically extinguished at the appropriate time. White porcelain and glass, gilded brass and dragon head faucet. 19th century period
