Tortoiseshell Veneered Travel Secretary, France (1850-1870)
French tortoiseshell veneered travel secretary.
When the lid is open, there is a writing tray and numerous compartments for accessories,
as well as a large storage compartment under the folding top.
The secretary is made of veneered wood with tortoiseshell plates,
and covered with a midnight blue silk velvet on the inside.

Good condition, minor signs of use, key missing.
