Old Lobmeyr Glass Enameled With Princely Alliance Coat Of Arms
Beautiful old glass decorated in enamel painted with the coats of arms of two Russian princely families: the Voronstov and the Troubetskoy.
This glass was most likely part of a large service commissioned on the occasion of the marriage between Prince General Semyon Mikhailovich Vorontsov (1823-1882) and Maria Vasilyevna Stolypina, née Princess Trubetskaya (1819-1895).
Along the edge, the mottos: SEMPER IMMOTA FIDES - IN DEO SPES MEA
From this service we have another 7 stemmed glasses, identical to the one on sale here.
