Beautiful solid silver flat-bottomed chocolate pot with rich chased and applique decoration in the Louis XVIII/Empire style. The lid is chased with a delicate frieze of palmettes, the removable grip resting on a radiant decoration of palms and palmettes in reserves with amatized backgrounds, florets and heart-shaped stripes. The spout features a palmette framed by foliage and enriched by a drape. The lower part features a beautiful frieze around a laurel wreath richly decorated with scrolls, acanthus leaves, palms, flowers and ribbons, surrounded by a frieze of palmettes at the top and a frieze of vine shoots at the base.
Very fine turned handle, the threads in silver.
The interior is entirely vermeiled.

• Minerve 1st title (French mark for slid silver 950/1000).
• Master goldsmith: "HL deux croissants et une cuiller" for Henri Lapeyre (Paris, 1895-1923).
