Portrait of Brigitte Bardot from 1965 (the same year as the film Viva Maria !) by Henrique Moreira. An important Portuguese sculptor, Moreira adorned the parks and buildings of the city of Porto with beautiful sculptures in a late neo-baroque style with a modernist tendency. This must be the only neo-baroque portrait of B.B. ever made, and was very clever on the part of the sculptor because Viva Maria ! the film by Louis Malle which toured in European cinemas in 1965, is set in 1907. Note that this portrait is larger than life size.
