Boutis Petassoun - Provence Circa 1850
Circa 1850 Provence Beautiful small Provencal Boutis or embossed Petassoun dating from the beginning of the Second Empire period. Front stitching on two layers of very fine white cotton, stuffed with cotton wicks forming the decoration. Design with central floral medallion and diamond stitching. Crenellated borders finished with a white cotton bias. It is reversible and has been delicately cleaned. Clean without holes or stains. Excellent condition. Dimensions: 46 cm x 43 cm
