Tripod Salt Cellar With Openwork Blue And White Decor - China 18th Century Kangxi Period
Porcelain salt cellar with blue and white decoration of two roosters, resting on three feet in the shape of a chimera's head. The central part is composed of openwork cells.
This openwork work could be considered as "Linglong" or work of the devil in openwork work, although here this part is not intended to accommodate a possible container, and has only a decorative aspect.
