A rare model of porcelain candlestick with Famille Rose enamels with various flower decorations.
CHINA 18th
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The quadrangular base is richly decorated with alternating cartridge borders with landscape decoration in purplish enamels and herbs painted in grisaille, as well as a grid frieze and a base decorated with flowers and lemons. The body is painted with iron red enamels, then the central part with a gradient of purple enamels. The upper part is decorated with flowers and the end is bordered by a lanceolate frieze. The candlestick takes the shape of European silverware models.
