Very beautiful Art Nouveau sewing kit from the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century with foliage decorations (resembling that of the vine) and berries. This decoration is very similar to that of the viburnum orbier. The tools are made of silver and are hallmarked "boar's head". They are in very good condition. The box contains: - Two pairs of scissors: a pair of embroidery scissors and a pair of linen scissors. Both pairs cut fabric except at the ends. - A needle case (in very good condition) - An embroidery awl (Very good condition) - A lace needle - A thimble without holes or dents in very good condition. The box, covered in leather, is also in very good condition. On the top of the lid, the initials "DP" are marked with a small iron. The box measures 18 x 10 cm.
