Very beautiful solid walnut sideboard composed of two superimposed parts. The upper part opens on the front with two small doors, it is decorated with several fluted pilasters with Corinthian capitals. The lower part forming a console rests on a large base on which two back panels take up the same sculptural work as the two sides of the top of our piece of furniture. On the front, two beautiful and strong fluted columns are also surmounted by Corinthian capitals and hold a wide belt opening on the front with a large transverse drawer equipped with two wrought iron pull knobs. The upper part of our piece of furniture is from the end of the 16th or the beginning of the 17th century. The lower part was made during the 19th century.
