Beautiful Chinese altar box in red and gold lacquer richly decorated in relief with characters and floral motifs. The upper part forms a lid on a compartmentalized plate used to receive statuettes or other objects of worship. It is in very good condition, beautiful patina. Dates from the beginning of the 20th century. Its dimensions in cm: 32 x 18. height 16.
