"Sevres Porcelain Jug Napoleon III Monograms"
Porcelain decoction pot or jug from the Sèvres factory, decorated on the belly with the gold-gilded cipher of Emperor Napoleon III. Model developed by the Sèvres factory for Louis-Philippe and his princes' service, and taken up by Napoleon III for his ball service. Under the foot, a green stamp with the abbreviation Sèvres 1848 and a red gilded stamp in Sèvres in 1856 Provenance: Antonia Banuelos-Thorndike collection, Marquise d'Alcedo
