Knitting machine in lemon and amaranth wood decorated with diamond marquetry. It consists of two openwork uprights joined by a top decorated with a bronze gallery forming a spacer. The latter is formed by a top with a high edge and a projection. One of the sides is tilting. Louis XVI period Usual restorations Bernard Molitor (1755 - November 17, 1833) - Cabinetmaker. Paris. Master on October 26, 1787. This cabinetmaker is represented in the Louvre Museum by two cabinets in Chinese lacquer, resting on ebony bases decorated with bronze palmettes.
