Splendid cartel clock from the Louis XVI period, featuring a gilded bronze case in excellent condition. The elegant structure is enhanced by a decorative urn at the top and garlands that highlight its artistic character.

The white enamel dial, signed “Bouchet, H.ger du Roi,” features refined Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, adding further prestige to the clock.
The mechanism, with its squared shape and original period components, is equipped with an anchor escapement and silk suspension, with an half and hour chime on a bell.

The clock has been recently serviced and is fully functional. Its aesthetic condition is excellent, making it a distinguished example among Cartels for the quality of its craftsmanship and historical significance.
