Empire Era Gilded Wood Frame
Antique large gilded wooden frame gilded in pure gold leaf of French origin and from the Empire period.
Very beautiful and intact gilding with an elegant low relief workmanship and applications in pastiglia with a floral motif on the edge of the frame with delicate and large acanthus leaves to close the four corners. The external edge also has small cord workmanship.
