These two medallions are inspired by the paintings of Davide TENIERS Le Jeune (1610-1690) or by paintings in the spirit of his work.
The one on the left represents “the game of jacquet” and the one on the right “The drinkers”. Both stained glass windows are signed “De Taffe 1899”. Adolphe De Taffe is said to be a Belgian glass painter.
Grisaille painting, colored enamels and silver yellow on colorless glass and colorless cathedral glass, set with lead.
