"Rare Commode With Arte Povera Decorations, Venice, 18th Century"

Rare and large Commode in celadon green lacquered wood with Arte Povera decorations. The front opens to two drawers decorated with characters and flowers in Arte Povera in molded cartouches in gilded wood. The sides are also decorated with characters, flowers and fruits. Uprights with cut sides decorated with leaves and fruit falls in gilded wood. It rests on four curved legs joined by a moving apron. Lacquered wood top imitating marble. Venice, circa 1720. End of the Louis XIV period, beginning of the Louis XV period.
