Haviland "diplomate" 38 Piece Dinner Service Set

Superb 38-piece dinner service from Haviland in the "Diplomate" model.

Very old inlay designed at the beginning of the 20th century by the designers of the Manufacture.
This decoration was adapted in 1916 for a Japanese embassy, then for President Roosevelt in 1938.
Like all inlays, it is a traditional Limoges engraving, filled with two successive gildings and agate burnishing.

This decoration combines inlay and relief, giving it an unparalleled finesse.
