Pair of chiseled bronze candlesticks, with rich 'turning' decoration with acanthus leaf decorations, mascarons, arabesques and scale motifs, Italian work in the 17th century style. A similar model in bronze from the 17th century is kept at the Louvre Museum (OA2801). Beautiful objects in a lovely patina!
