The scabbard is made of embossed silver, decorated on the top of the face of Kurthimkha (Threshold Guardian, representation of power and divine protection)
The rest of the front of the scabbard is also decorated with two dragons set with two turquoises and coral.
The reverse of the scabbard is decorated with several symbols of Tibetan Buddhism.
