French school from the Directoire period depicting an elegant woman posing on a bench in a garden. Unsigned oil on canvas, the canvas bears a stamp from the Belot house, 3 rue de l'Arbre Sec, period (1776-1824). Framed in a gilded stucco frame decorated with palmettes and foliage, 19th century.
