Rare armorial ewer in silver-plated brass. Its shape derives from medieval ewers, characterized by a graceful handle. It rests on a molded foot and is topped with a lid to protect the purity of the water. Elegant pouring spout. Coat of arms surmounted by a crown to be identified. The brass is adorned over its entire surface with a silver coating which has transformed it into a precious object. France. 17th century period (Louis XIV) Good general condition despite some wear to the silver plating.
