This fine bronze sculpture with a burnished patina is signed by Denise Delavigne, a French sculptor born at the end of the 19th century. The work has the title of "Bound Cupid" because it depicts Cupid with his hands crossed and tied behind his back and his quiver resting on a stump to the side.
