Gold chatelaine featuring a belt hook decorated with four medallions in openwork and a watch.
The gold watch case is decorated with an E.L monogram on the gold background. The monogram is enhanced with a white and blue enamel. Inside, the watch is signed "Anquetin 77 boulevard d'Aboukir Paris". Modeste Anquetin watchmaker of his state has written many treatises of horology but also historical works on Vercingétorix. He had a certain notoriety in the Eure (Evreux).
