Bicorne Grand Uniform of General of Brigade of the Kingdom of Belgium XIXth. With Attributes. Under the monarchy of Leopold I, King of the Belgians from July 21, 1831 to December 10, 1865.
- Bicorne: Braided model (the braided model is reserved for ceremonial dress): in black "Flemish" felt edged with a wide gold braid of the species called "general's edge", with a scalloped edge with a crest, woven with a double oak branch with its fruits, a curly black ostrich feather is sewn against each of the inner edges, braid formed of three matte gold twists, they double around the button and held by this same button of golden uniform large module half-domed gold, embossed with a trophy formed of flags and a shield stamped with the lion, surmounted by a helmet. Diameter 24 mm. Cockade in black gold and red braiding. Inner headdress composed of a headband in white waxed canvas and white silk printed "Patin hatter of the king and princess 3 mountain of the Court Brussels". Height 22.5 cm, width 16.50 cm, length 47 cm. Black cardboard transport box with interior label marked "Patin chapelier du roi et princesse 3 montagne de la Cour Bruxelles Bicorne in good condition (white silk interior with missing parts). Transport box in very average condition.
- Epaulettes: They are embroidered in frisure of cables and gold sequins. The body is in unembroidered gold trimmings, decorated with two stars. The fringes are in large matte cables. Uniform button (half-domed gilded with burnishing, embossed with a trophy formed of flags and a shield stamped with the lion and topped with a helmet).
- Brigadier general's sash belt: In gold thread and red silk mesh. At the ends are sewn two tassels: the heads covered with gold cannetille applied in a checkerboard pattern, slightly domed on both sides and bearing two stapled stars. The gorges and skirts with long fringes are in large matte cables. Belt buckle in gilded brass. Interior in fawn-colored leather. Good general condition, with traces of use, small alteration.
- Senior officer's sword dragonne in gold thread cannetille. ABE condition.
