The artist revealed his talent in bronze, pastel and ceramics. Fascinated by bronze, he taught himself the lost wax process, and cast his own works in his studio in Vieille-Église. Jean ROULLAND was one of the last survivors of the Roubaix group, a collective of artists, alongside Arthur VAN HECKE and Eugène LEROY. He models the human figure with excess and arouses strong emotions, whether he draws a face in pastel or sculpts an emaciated body in bronze. In its original box
