Antique Silver And Mahogany Table Frame From The 1960s In Imitation Of Bamboo
Very beautiful handcrafted frame in '925 silver and mahogany, imitating bamboo.
The goldsmith's mark FI 478 allows us to state with certainty that it was made by the workshop of Zolfanelli Sergio & Tarani Luigi, active in Florence between 1968 and 1971.
The artisans who made it were probably inspired by Gucci who, at the time, launched the fashion for bamboo in all its forms.
Note how the woodwork, mahogany, also follows the lines of the bamboo cane.
