Four panels of silk damask curtains with vertical stripes in yellow-orange tones and a prominent woven motif in a tone-on-tone design. These draperies have been in use for a long time and show signs of sun exposure on the cotton backing, but the wool wadding between the cotton and the silk has protected the central part of the fabric.
There are also signs of fraying along the vertical edges and at the bottom. Therefore, these curtains will need to be reduced in size to be reused as they are.
We estimate that the usable portion is approximately 4 panels measuring 90 x 290 cm.
A diagram and 4 videos allow attendees to assess the defects of these tents: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/g1dpvqqeyyntnakeirbu1/ADSHMRX9TChdE4ZEuHgmq7I?rlkey=jsrr2hwf89tteeivwel8tbbkc&st=41rqopmy&dl=0
