Dated in Persian 1270 or 1854 of our calendar.
A fine epigraphic decoration, a frieze of interlacing surrounds a sun or inscribed in the center what appears to be a fox.
A light frieze encircles the whole itself surrounded by three cartouches decorated with friezes and interspersed with three flowers.
The dish is signed and has inscriptions in a cartouche in beautiful calligraphy.
The patina is superb on the inside and outside of the high-rimmed tray.
