Plaster Plaque Representing The Coat Of Arms Of The Ruinart De Brimont Family
Extremely rare plasterboard plaque representing the coat of arms of the Ruinart de Brimont family. In the center is the azure coat of arms with a gold chevron accompanied in chief by two silver stars and in base by a heart of the same, with a gold chief charged with a gules rose. The coat of arms is surmounted by a five-branched crown and two rampant lions. Plaque decorated in the lower part with the inscriptions "RUINART PERE & FILS RHEIMS" and the year 1729 which corresponds to the year of creation of the eponymous champagne house.
