Louis XVI Style Mahogany Console
Louis XVI style console in mahogany and mahogany veneer, it opens on the front with a drawer with drop handles, the black veined marble top is surrounded by an openwork gallery. The four fluted legs are joined by a crotch shelf. The drawer and sides are decorated with brass rods, the shelf as well. The front uprights are rounded, the rear uprights are projecting, they are decorated with scrapers. This console has been completely refinished and revarnished. Space between the drawer and the shelf: 48 cm. Furniture from the very beginning of the 19th century. Note: no key, the original marble has been restored, difficult to see in the photographs.
