Elegant, rustic pair of table lamps in ceramic with copper glaze by Bergboms AB Sweden for Bitossi Italy 1960s.
Beautifully shaped design with matte open pore ceramic center and copper colored glaze of round lamp base and lamp neck.
Brown earthen centerpiece is worked like a border of knots and ribbons. The base and neck are glazed but the surface is still not quite smooth.
The slightly conical, coarse silk shade in a delicate sand tone complements
softly to the base. The silk is laminated on white PCV film and therefore allows the light to shine through the shade.
Marked at the bottom with maker's mark: Bergboms.
