French Mid-century Mirror With Metal Scales Of Copper, Brass And Iron 1960s
Exceptional mid-century mirror with metal scales of copper, brass and iron, Fance 1960-ies.
The frame has a width of 8.0cm and is beveled inward. The tapered scales of the different metals are arranged in one direction and do not follow any principle in the arrangement. The metals have different degrees of gloss and also already have a beautiful patina.
The mirror was worked by hand, all metals cut out and arranged by hand and welded on a metal plate at the bottom, so that the upper end of the scale is exposed, which also results in a certain optical dynamics of the scales.
The effect of the mirror is therefore lively and also a little rustic, but in any case very special.
