Rare and spectacular solid walnut clock molded and carved with foliage and flower decoration. The case is deeply curved, it has two overhanging openwork and carved uprights, a bronze plate with a polychrome bronze patina decorated with a draped nymph held by hands symbolizing the passing of time, and a silvered bronze dial. Double signature on the bronze plate and on the case. Superb patina, note some wood-eating holes treated and filled.
