Superb small icon on wood depicting the Holy Trinity. Three ore-shaped angels around an altar share the Eucharist. Egg tempera - Russia - 18th century. The original colors are bright, as is the gilding which is patinated but still shines and is very bright. The 19th century oak frame is gilded with leaf and delicately patinated. Panel dimensions 6.5 x 6.2 cm. Thickness: approximately 1 cm. Frame dimensions 13.5 x 13.5 cm. Thickness: 2.5 cm.
