Here is a plaster statue from the workshop of Charles-Alexandre Filleul (1856-1907), it represents a Christ with his arm raised. The work is dedicated and bears the signature of Filleul. It is nicely patinated, powerful and well brought out. This is probably preparatory work for a larger statue, Charles Filleul made garden statues in particular. The work is natural, it has not been touched. We report a broken thumb and index finger, missing parts, chips on the base. Our photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object.
