Large glazed terracotta planter in red and gold tones with mother-of-pearl inlays and Japanese decoration. Note: restoration on the edge. Joseph Constantin Auguste Majorelle (1825-1879), is a French decorator, creator of ceramics and furniture. He is the father of Louis Majorelle, decorator and cabinetmaker.
