Large Gothic Chest - 15th Century - Decorated On 4 Sides - Middle Ages Furniture
Superb large Gothic chest in solid oak from the end of the Middle Ages. It is decorated with orbevoie fenestration on the front side, on the sides "napkin fold" decorations. Its particularity is that it is also decorated on its back side which normally is not. There too, gothic “napkin fold” decorations. Only its cover is not original. Probably made in the 19th century, it simply sits on the trunk. Work from the end of the 15th century 160cm long 70cm deep 85cm high
