19th Century Neapolitan School, Gouache, Temple Of Hercules, Pompeii, Beautiful And Large Frame

Large Neapolitan gouache from the end of the 19th century representing a view of the sanctuary dedicated to Athena and the ruins of the Doric temple of Hercules in Pompeii. In the background we see the characteristic bay of Naples, its coast and its mountains flowing into the sea and a few boats on the horizon. The colors are fresh and the whole thing is very decorative. This gouache, which is in very good condition, has a superb large format light wooden frame: 60 x 46.5 cm. Hand delivery is recommended for this work.
