Louis XV Desk

Elegant black lacquered tiered desk, late 18th - early 19th century. Beautiful size writing tray, topped with a pull-out tier with moving sides and bottom. Central drawer mounted in a dovetail and fitted with a bronze pull handle. Scrolled belt on four sides, enhanced with a molded net cut from the mass of the wood. Four arched legs decorated with openwork bronze sabots. Walnut wood painted black, later painting, slight wear. The bleacher could have been made in the 19th century, while the desk remains entirely from the 18th century. I consider this piece of furniture to be in a very good state of conservation, I do not see any major restoration. Good stability and nice patina. Please note: the all-sided molding allows this piece of furniture to be presented in the center of the room.
