Lucien JOULIN (1842-c.1900) oil on panel signed lower right and located on the back The flower girl in A Bagnères De Bigorre in the Haute Pyrénées dated 1873 Lucien Émile Joulin was born in 1842. Student of Palizzi and Barrias, he becomes a painter. We owe him animated scenes and religious subjects, notably at the Saint-Roch church “The Virgin and the Child Jesus”, around 1860. He died in 1879.
