Louis XVI Living Room Table
Very elegant little living room table (called chiffoniere), from the Louis XVI period, in mahogany and mahogany veneer. This is a beautifully crafted piece of furniture, of Parisian quality, as evidenced by its stamp as well as the Jurande hallmark. E.AVRIL for Etienne Avril, master in 1774. It opens with 3 drawers on the front, the top one revealing a writing desk covered in green leather. The bronzes display a dazzling gilding, slightly patinated, and the locks (original) work.
