Chiseled gilded bronze
This knot carrying the laurel wreath of victory is in the round.
He was not plated but detached. Being therefore in volume, it was located on a portal for example, projecting onto the cornice of a piece of woodwork. It is made of solid bronze (3.8 kg) and therefore very solid.
Condition:
Very good original condition.
Dimensions
: wingspan: 51 cm, crown diameter: 17 cm, thickness: 5 cm.
I acquired the lot from an old bronze maker. There are various bronze elements or accessories from all periods, this type of supply is difficult to find especially for large models, therefore very decorative.
