Swivel Office Armchair, In Stained Beech - 1940s

Swivel armchair in stained beech inspired by Baumann model no. 164. Dating from the 1940s, this armchair has a framed seat, darkened with thick black cowhide. The enveloping backrest has curved armrests joining the seat frame. The back is trimmed with a lighter brown, studded leather. This seat has a quadripod base. The four moving legs are joined by an iron element maintaining a sliding screw system, allowing this swivel chair to be adjustable in height. ******** Period: 1940 Excellent condition.
